I have always enjoyed helping others. In elementary school I was the kid who helped my peers when they were struggling with their assignments. In high school I voluntarily coached a five-year-olds soccer team. They loved soccer as much as I did. I also volunteered in high school as a tutor, at the local library and worked for a senator, pushing for government to aid disadvantaged citizens. In college, I was internship for child protective services, of NJ, DYFS. If I could, I would of taken every child home with me.
My desire to become a therapist came when I was working as an interior decorator for Ethan Allen after college. I would complete a job, and the client would call me back for another one, or so I thought. They wanted a listening ear and advice on the problems they were facing. I loved listening, helping and so the path to becoming a therapist began! I am blessed to do what makes me happy and see the happiness therapy brings to my clients.
